Forgot when my MOT was due and managed to get an MOT booked this morning. Usual place we use couldn't fit us in for a week and the local dealers have closed. They are now a Hyundai Dealer and I have already had a row with the pushy tw*t in the body shop , so wouldn't use them at all. The local back street garage stepped up and arranged the MOT and carried out the fitting of the new front disc pads. All done for a very reasonable price and the car is now MOT'd. Will probably change the pads, as for the second year running got an advisory on pitted discs. Roll on the next group buy for Brembo HCs.
Only downside is that the 4 year old Clio failed and the 41 year old Elf went straight through with no failures or advisories. Typical French mechanicals. I also had my own Health MOT today and had two advisories on my engine and Induction systems.
