Mute Lead - Display & Pause

Has anyone connected a car kit to the mute lead on the standard 182 headunit and if so does it display 'phone' or similar in the display and / or pause the CD?. Any help appreciated.

Hi i have done this with my sony bluetooth kit, all that it comes up with is pause. TBH it was a waste of time setting it all up, as it is just as easy to flick the pause button on the stalk remote,

Cheers, would appreciate the wiring diagram if you dont mind sending it over. Its a few years since I wired up a headunit or anything similar..
