My central locking is playing up!

The car is a mk4 golf 5 door. Usually when i lock all the doors the indicators flash once to show it is all locked. This is not happening anymore. Also when I unlock the car, one press just opens my drivers door, however it most time now opens the back passenger side aswell.
Anyone heard of this before.
Is it the lock the Ecu messing up?
Anything please.
