my ph1 numbered sill plates?

just out of interest, why do i have numbered sill plates on my phase 1 172?
i had an x reg 172 before and it didnt have these. thought only cups would be 'numbered'?

from memory only the exclusive's (which were all ph1s) had numbered sill plates.

If the car is green then theres your answer, if not, i'd guess its had them taken off an exclusive at some point.

ahhhh yes must be off an exclusive. mines a w reg so thought would have just been one of the first 172's

fraid not, not last time i checked anyway. think its no 102. i dont have my car with me to check in week due to local scrotes from over the road in hulme takin a fancy to breakin into cars outside!
