Looks good there. Guess your question re: strip it or keep it tidy depends on how much the money you have in it means to you. Is it your only car, and would you be knackered if you wrecked it on track? If so, keep it tidy.

If to you it's a 9 year old metal box that cost nothing and you have another daily driver, then strip it and track it. Can you afford to have loads of fun but potentially get nothing for it come sale time?

Epic lens flair in them pics BTW! Plastic lens much?

yeh just some cheap hybrid camera lol

i do have a mk4 golf tdi sat in the garage i can put it back on the road if i wanted to track this means i have the two costs off tax insurance and stuff
though if i did have it as a track car i could just go the hole hog as a track toy and trailer it everywhere with the golf with it being a derv it 'should' pull it

You need to check the legal weight limit for towing with the golf, I would be surprised if you can tow another car on a trailer(clio + trailer = 1500kg ish at a guess). Also you may need a trailer licence, depending on when you passed your test! But if you can sort these few things then I would strip and track it, but keep all the stuff you strip so that its easy to put it back to how it was!

will have to look into the legal limit for pullin and have to enquire about getting a trailer licence i think suppose it will be somthing for the new year now get the golf back on the road then strip it out after winter and the crap weather i guess :)

Sounds like a plan, having the trailer licence will always be a handy thing to have. I'm going to get mine as soon as I find some time/money.

  AGH the sl*g
I imagine the golf 'would' pull it on a flat road but find some hills and you have s**t it! i tow stuff and often find myself in low box in the landrover on hills and they have some right grunt!
