Mynheer Bodykits

So, i am thinking about getting a bodykit from Mynheer!



Whats is everyones opinion on these bodykits for a Clio 16v?

Anyone got one or think they are worth getting?

mmm must be said not to my taste, too OTT tbh, as for cost and quality im really not sure as i dont have the lit and havnt seen one close enough to check panel fit etc, sorry not much help i know

i loose track of what they are all called but ecosse stuff normally looks good, as does the new k-tec kit for the valver (not sure on the front bumper or spoiler tho) some of the more tame wings west stuff and veilside do some cool kits. i know most of them dont dostuff for valvers tho, and IMO dont do big jap bumpers on a small european hatch it just ends up looking out of place most of the time

Mynheer are a bit ropey to be honest, the front bumper is not designed too well as its awkward to open the bonnet all the way, dont know about the actual quality of the stuff, but when I saw Pazs clio from fastcar last year it didnt seem to be the best.

i liked the kiit that was on Carig Sangsters Honda Civic in April 2002 issue of Revs, but that may also have been for the reason that he lives in my grans street and i get on quite well with him,

but in general their kits do look far too fussy on small cars

you said a kit for a 16v clio,

do you mean a new 16v or a phase one 1.8 16v

if you mean the old phase 1 16v then i wouldnt bother messing about with it, to be honest with you as they look wicked any way.

If you mean a new 16v then thats different, as they are more subtle (no bonnet vent,arches etc) however in my opinion with mynheer they are yery ott !!

and make your can look like a space ship and people will laugh at it. The quality is pretty dire as well, as proved by pazs 16v from fast car.

but mate the decision is up to you.

i like the bonnet as it looks mental, the front bumper looks cheap, the wing mirrors are cool and so are the side skirts, they have incorporated the real lexus clusters in the tailgate but that looks like a lot of grief, and the roof spoiler is a bit OTT, but i dont like them anyway. DONT put the HULK on the back as i will never speak to you again

Just looked at k-tec racing and looked at the Kombat bodykit for Clio 1. It looks really nice but dont think i can afford to spray and fit it.

I am slowly forgetting about Mynheer!!!



DOes anyone else have the Kombat kit???
