N/W street racing 2nite!

anyone who is intersted in coming to watch some street racing can meet me and a few others at the shell garage in altrincham(Manchester). I think it is just off junction 7 of the M60(Altrincham junction). we are meeting there at 7.45pm, making our way down to the stanley green retail park for a mini cruise and then moving on to the multistorey car park in stockport at around 11pm where everyone will be racing. This is not just a clio thing, it happens every week and is usually a good laugh.

The garage is between Stretford and Sale, just over the Mersey from the M60 junction.

Ill be bringing my Digicam to capture some of the action hopefully.

Just went to say ello (couldnt stay!) saw Adi (now with Williams engine), Paul Visceral (clean car!!) and clean 16V (who ALWAYS lives up to his name). My car looked sh*te as its not been cleaned since weekend....:(

I can confirm Paddys car was covered in Sh1te!! It was at least a months worth! weekend my buttocks lol.

I followed Adi and clean down the M60 and then round hanforths various DUEL carridgeways - Bugger me I could just about keep up!!( even though they were both 2 up!!)I illuminated my gear change light more in 20 mins than in the last 2 months!!

Cheers Guys - I have never used so much petrol in such a short space of time - lol!!!

Paddy - will load up the wonky pic for debate, shame u couldnt come and defend the honor of the humble mk2 172, mine is still too young 850 miles :)

well gents, surprise surprise last night it got shut down by police! managed to get a few races in before the land rover drove through but he soon left but by this point no one had the balls to race! it is on a straight bit on the multi storey, not very long but long enough. i only had one race, with a MK4 golf GTI turbo. i lit up the wheels on take off but still spanked it, didnt even change to 2nd!! Adi was too scared to give the willy powered valver a run but i dont blame him with the smell of bacon in the air! no doubt everyone will still be there come next week and Col promises to show everyone his willy:eek:.

after you went matey the racin started up again non stop until half twelve was a good night :) me n mikey had a few races with each other first race i had him one of my better starts n in the other two it was two close to call think i need even bigger wheels for next week to stop spinnin in 1st n 2nd ;)

was considering hanging around but all my mates got off! glad to see mikeys clio is holding out against the turbo crew! That LAD motorsport VTS was getting its ass kicked all over the show before you turned up, a standard VTS with 500 odd mile and three up stayed with it all the way, neck-and-neck! the coupe turbo wasted it too!

lol rite i was too scared my rear discs are well shagged an 2mm of pad left didnt fancy hittin a big post or a wall

after being good all nite i got stopped by the boys in blue a mile from me house givin it some off a roundabout lol they got a bit suspicious wen i couldnt think of where id been, dont think sayin illegal street racin in manchester would hav gone down well

visceral- ull hav to giv it a few more good runs like that it should get quicker

Adi, how fast did we end up going by the way? Cos i was watchin for ur flames and never even thought to look at the speedo.

mine was filthy hehe, dont think we hit 130 i was doin about 100 when i pulled out into the other lane then u started brakin not long after so bout 115 ish

u cant beat a shiney black car!!

I particularly like the two tone effect between my door and wing!!

think Adis shows it a little though nowhere near as bad as mine!

next time Ill set it to megapixel and get some really good shots!!
