does any one know where i can get just the plastic navigation housing for a mk2 clio?

If you mean like an indash navigation unit plastic thing from my enquiries there isnt such a thing. The navigation unit supplied with the clio as an extra went on the top of the dash and if you look under that little mat thing on the top of the dash you can see the holes that support the unit.

I was looking to fit a tv in there but drew blanks every time

Even if thats not what he meant id like to know where to get one of them from.

Anyone any ideas.

that is the bit i want !!!!!!!!!! basically everything u see there except the screen? any ideas

i spoke to two daelers and reanult h/o. one said not possible, other said £350 for whole top of dash and renault H/O said £133 ???????

Im thinking of getting the tv box for my nav so I can put dvd on that screen , but it is gonna cost around £500 for the module (the navigation unit is actually the VDO Dayton 5000 Nav system)

you cannot get it on its own

Roamer do you have any other pics of it from further away, I was planning on putting a touch screen into that bit but wanted to find an easy way to fit it.

KDF - Ill dig some piccies out for ya when I get a moment, I do think that the screen is set a little too far back in the nav housing for a touch screen, but Ill have a look next time I go out.
