Negative/earthing connection rear lights

Does anyone have any idea where it is?

I think its behind the carpet in the boot behind the lights themselves. If you lift the carpet away on the left/right side in the corner you should see a bolt witha earth on. Trace it to make sure like, but I presume thats the earth for the lights

I've checked behind there but can't see anything, I'll look again tomorrow. The only bolt I could see was the one for the seatbelt haha

if you take the tail lights off you will see a wiring loom. i think the earth is the black wire. i had a problem where one of my stop lights wasnt working so i cut it at the loom and bypassed it by connecting them dirctly. dont know if this is related to your problem but just a thought

They're behind the black plastic that runs a long the inside of the boot, you'll have to take it off (4 or 5 torx screws)
