well, we got some from Plymouth, and Callington is over that way too... and there's a few that live proper west (including me!) down over in Redruth.... so why not meet in the middle-ish at Newquay? Be a good place to take pictures etc too, get some food etc! And it'd be empty this time of year haha!

Lol, sorry mate I'm a Cornishman by postcode only so learning the area... never even been to Plymouth! In fact, I've never been to Par haha!

I just looked on a map and it looked about middle, didn't check mileage/drive time. I just know there is some good locations for pictures and plenty of room, plus plenty of places to eat etc.

I'm happy to go to St Austell/Par too, I think if we have a Devon and Cornwall meet we need to make sure the sea is seen in any pictures haha, show the rest of the country how it's done?!

any ideas on a location with that in mind bud?

That sounds good to me, St Austell is about a 1 hour drive away from me. I would say Dartmoor is amazing, some brilliant roads but because there's a 40MPH restriction on most of it, it could kill the fun a bit. I'm free all day everyday past about the 18th of December or any Saturday before

Thinking back, I think I recall seeing your Megane in for service when Nick owned the Quay Garage in Padstow! Oh how his services are missed haha.

Relating to your comment, the B road between St.Ives and St.Just is always a winner for me.

B3306? Awesome road, especially this quieter time of year. Often head all along the north coast to Lands End, then back along the south coast and down the Lizard. Too far for those in the East unless we meet further East then have a longer drive heading West and back - thoughts people?

Yeah I used to use Nick to look after the car and now I try to do most bits myself (often phoning Nick when I get stuck haha).

I reckon needs to be somewhere easily accessible off the A30 at least, make it easy for everyone to get about then being pretty much the only main road in Cornwall ha... might make a good rolling picture if we met somewhere first. Lots of ideas flying about, need to get something sorted... St Austell-ish area seems good middle ground. Anyone got a specific location? As mentioned above, could always go for a little drive elsewhere if some people wanted?
