New headlight Wahsers

Replaced the horrible renault squirters - I can actually fill the bottle now without it leaking out the washers iugnore the smudges round it thats just my fingerprints

Cost a couple of quid for some grommits which I got off graham172 from here but I think you can get them at halfrauds by the looks of it anyway

What did you do with the associated tubing behind the bumper?

Just measured one the diameter is 15mm

The tubing has a connector on the nearside where I just unplugged them both, removed the tubing from the bumper and the cable tied the hanging tubes together but bent them so they wouldnt leak if you see what I mean.

Then popped them back into the plastic clip that holds them, job done. No more leakage


Oh and dont forget to remove the fuse for the headlight washers they have a different pump to the main one so all is good.

I dont understand the point in them anyway, the only way they would be any use is if they actually wiped the glass, on my car they leak and spray all over the gaff

Yeah but it wont. Worst comes to worst theres a few people I can ask. But notg unna happen

Plus they look pretty "factory fitted" only a tiny hole at the topthat wouldnt fill but im not bothered about that

^ More effort than I could be bothered with in all honesty, but no if you work quickly (I work very slowly ) It could be done in an hour
