new member wanting advice

Hey guys. Just joined and I wanted a bit of advice on improving looks and performance on a 51 plate clio expression. I don't want to go as far as lowering and importing entire body kits but I do want to get hold of some subtle side skirts. I have HID headlights, small alloys and a few other cosmetics inside, is like to get some foot well lighting as the colour of the car is nautillous blue. Also what would you suggest for improving performance? I've been told that air filters are extremely hard to fit and if I did I would want a engine remapping to improve the fuel economy lost. Is that wise? Thanks

Welcome to the club. Have a look in the projects section for ideas.

In terms of performance, the expression is a 1.2 isn't it? If so, there's not really much you can do (cheaply) to improve performance...do you mean an air filter, or an open air filter? I wouldn't bother as I don't think that the filters do too much apart from add noise (if its an open one).

Lol yeah I know there's not much point improving performance drastically being a small engine but I think a few small things would be good. Thanks for the reply anyway
