Hi Everyone

I am new to site after spending ages trying to find a clio sport site.

Anyway as you can see my names Dave and I am 26 and from Bristol. I have just come from owning a subaru impreza wrx sti to looking into a clio sport.

Strange you might think but basically i have changed jobs and got a car allowance and lost my company car. So i am looking into something less costly to run for a while and still fun as i am also buying a house.

I have found a few to look at this weekend and was thinking of 02-04 plate 172 sport.

Anything i should particulary look out for when looking at these cars?.

Also one i have in mind has some 17" wheels but i dont want them. So if anybody in the Bristol area wants to change them for some original cup wheels i may be interested.

thanks guys, i am looking foward to the experience. heard they are great fun to drive and found some good reviews on youtube. hopefully tommorow i will have one, will get some pics up if i do.

as for the scooby it was 93wrx with and sti2 ecu and decat running 300bhp. it was very quick but the fuel went down as fast as the speed went up sometimes so it will be nice to have something a bit more economical.

I have a new one now, its silver and a 2001 51 reg. needs a few little bits doing to it but not too bad.

Only thing i want to change is the k tec silver grille and the 17" wheels if anyone is interested. I would happily swap them for a standard grille and some standard cup wheels.

I will put some pics up later, so far i am enjoying it though

evening all.

heres some pics of my 172, pinched these off the dealers website but it is my car.
i am planning to change the grille back to standard, not sure about the wheels though. they need a bit of TLC though.
so far its great fun, the in gear accerelation is much better than what the reviews make it sound.
and the xenons are great too

Gotta agree with the grille comments but other than that tidy (maybe could use turinis and the cup spoilers)
