New Nikon D50 lens, help.

Currently got a Nikon 18-55mm lens and a Tamron 55-200mm lens, but it's a bit of a pain keep swapping them over and because the lens' have been swapped over, dust and things have gone onto the sensor.... the camera has gone away to be cleaned.

I'm after a 18-200mm or 18-300mm lens, save keep swapping the lens' over.

Anyone recommend a good one?

18-200 VR - but not cheap at all!

My results have been excellent so far.

Nikon 18-200 VS is probably the best, then the Sigma 18-200 OS and Tamron 18-250..

nikkor 18-200 VR is incredible.

god knows how theyve made it so good with a range liike that.

COME ON CANON, make a 18-200!!

Nikon have done very well with the 18-200, it really has exceeded my expectations, i find it hard to put down once I start snapping!

tamaron 28-300 good lens cheap price, you can get it with vr (is) now bit more though

No personally experience with either lens but what matters more to you, the wide end or the long end?

Happy medium would suit me, but wouldn't want a lens with poor picture on maximum zoom either
