Hi all,
Thought I'd pop by and sign up, I've been browsing the extensive Ph1 media thread. Some lovely ph1's out there.
So I'm coxxy, possibly one or two of you might know me. So I've had a few cars, nothing really special but they all served me well. I'll add some pics. Then a child, mortgage and responsibilities came along and I was left with a track day clio that I share with my friend (soon to buy it out from him) and a dirty diesel.
So the clio, is a Ph1 titanium (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) silver 172. Bought it road legal, then made it track only. It's now sat around for about a year in a garage and I intend to slowly put it back to a state where it will pass an mot and have it as a occasional weekend toy.
It's seen a few track days and when it did see the track it was very good fun, very capable and held its own against some much faster cars driven by much slower drivers.
So some of my old cars,
Fiesta ST, breathing mods and bluefin and my Ej9 daily laughable yet fun 120hp
Facelift Ep3 CTR. Started standard, went to Inverness to get it. 1055mile round trip. It was worth it, it ended up as a 260hp Kpro, 8500rpm go kart.
My pride and joy, the one car I regret selling more then anything else
So whilst I had the Ep3 I also had the focus ST. Bought part modified, I made it a SCC Performance Revo Stg2. 330hp/400lbs ft torque power house.
Did everything the Ep3 lacked in power and speed, really well.
So as a combination, those two were so fun to have at the same time.
The clio was bought pretty much as is, in these pictures. This was its first outing out at Bedford. I don't know much about its history other then the paperwork I have. So next month it will be handed over solely to me as my little slow burner project to get Road going again.
It has a small list of things I want to sort.
I belive this may have been owned by at least one forum member. If so hopefully you'll be glad to know it is still very much alive.
So it's my first clio, I've always been much on the belief of 'its french' which means it's crap. But having had this part owned with a friend for the past 3 years. What we did do with it, I loved it.
So yeah boring and long winded hello thread.
