newbie with an MOT fail!

hey everybody,
my Nreg RT just failed (amongst many other thing!) on headlamp aim being too low.
any hints on how i can sort this without paying someone else!?

i am armed with a haynes manual and my husbands toolbox, but need a ittle guidance! cheers

^^ na that wont link wont help, cause it aint a mk1 is it.

Myne failed on this last year but im not really sure what i did to fix it, took the black cap off the back of the headlight to expose all the wires an then just pulled and tugged on different things. I also changed the little wheel adjuster on the inside to the max and when i took it back they said it was fine.
