Nikon D60 > Macbook?

Bit of an afterthought since iv already bought the camera...

Can i run all the software etc needed with my mac?

I only want to take photos from and too it?

My D40 is recognised as external storage by my macbook when I plug it in, no card reader or software required.

Ah mint. Dont need to buy myself a car reader now

My macs have no issues talking to my 450D and needed no introduction.

mine just recognizes it as D80 when i plug it in via usb and i can drag and drop them straight to the pictures folder.
