No light in glove box

My GF has just got an 04 dynamique, but theres no light in the glove box?

Anyone elses like this?

renault did away with it because the switch made the glovebox lid stick out at one side when shut.

doubt it mate i recon they probly just left the light on the 182. i wana sort the bleedin gap out on mine its a real sh*tter might do away with the switch and run a wire to the center consol and put a switch on the side of there instead

I even got a torch off Renault so if the light isnt working i have about 10 seconds of power in my torch....the torch is also available in christmas crackers

It was part of the accident pack Renault send out.

You get a torch,camera,forms to fill in details etc and a crayon to highlight the damage.

Run a wire to the light switch so the glove box light comes on when the lights are on. You wont see owt unless the glovebox is open and then you have no spurious switches.

weird how they stopped doing it, i didnt think it was the switch making it stick out more on one side?

I heard of some that were on all the time cos shutting the box didnt press hard enough, this annoyed ppl as they were driving as they could see the light.

my june 04 182 has one anyway.

why dont u try putting ur lights on then see if the glove box lights up, as this is what happens with mine...

I havent even got a glovebox in the VTS! Right pain sometimes putting stuff in the boot.
