No rev limiter

Hey, my clio 172 revs in every gear and neutral up to 8k rpm. I really want stock rev limit which is 7200. I don't think it's mapped, because it's completely stock, still has the 'kick' at ~4500 rpm. I was thinking about omex rev limiter, but people says it will destroy cat (maybe soft cut won't). Is there any other, better and cheaper option ?

Sounds like it's got a dodgy map.

I wouldn't be revving it to 8k if we're you, specially not on a standard engine

Yeah I know, it was just twice in a year, I am trying not to get past 7200. Decent tuner will charge at least 400 bucks.

EFI is like £180 for a standard map.

An rs tuner module might be an option for you then, only about 200 new from fastchip
