Noisey Relay?

Another quickie...

Are the relays that control the windscreen wipers meant to click so much? It's pretty annoying, especially when the automatic wipers are on.

Anything i can do to quiet them down a bit? (Fill the glove box with expanding foam!?!? - Joke!)

Ive noticed this too on my car. I dont have the auto wiper tho. I can control the speed tho with some twisty bit.lol (god i love tecnail terms). but i notice the click more when im uses the speed controler.

If it annoys you that much, make up a loom and relocate it. I think you will find even then you will be subconsciously listening for it.

You could change it for a transistorised one from a BMW, and put a standard relay in line in the tailgate. But that would require a major re-wire.

Turn the radio up !!!

tis normal. imo. mine does it. doesnt bother me though.
