Non sport to sport bumper, Crush boxes

The crush boxes that came out of my non sport bumper...

Didn't seem.. I didn't look all that properly, to fit on the sport bumper.

I want to know if sport crush boxes are there (im guessing they are, Or if my non sport ones will fit?)

They absorb some energy of a rear crash don't they?

Apologies but I'm finding it difficult to understand your post.

There are "crush boxes" on the sport rear bumper (mine came with them). When i took off my non-sport bumper there was no "crush boxes". Hope thats some help? I know people often dont bother using them.

One of two options, check is non sport ones fit. If so fit them. If so, get some sport ones.

Although tbh I imagin you could make them fit with a stanley.

I mean my non sport has crush boxes but the sport rear bumper came without them, So i fitted the sport bumper without them and im now worrying that if i have a rear impact that there's nothing to absorb some of the energy..

Cheers, Yeah i had a very quick trial fit before i put the bumper on and it didnt seem to.. Now the bumpers on i want to find out on here before taking the bumper off again...

LOL! Why put the bumper on?

When I fitted my mk2 sport bumper, I was hungover, and Danny 172 was tired and it took us like 10 tried to get them in the right way, its just weird! lol!

Because its fine without the crush boxes looks wise, Its just safety wise im asking, I just want to know if the non sport crush boxes DO fit in the sport before i whip it off and lose half an hour of my life?.

Only took me 20 mins to change them over, But was a bit baffed about the crush boxes so left them out.

Im guessing i need sport ones.
