Just had my tracking checked on my 182, had a feeling something needed adjusting as it was scrubbing the outer edge of the nearside front tyre, was told by the garage that i have used for years and trust that the camber was well out on that wheel and that renault would be able to adjust it.
Went all the way to my local renault dealer who was as helpfull as a hole in your head, just kept saying no we need to do a tracking check before we even adjust or fix anything and its £105+vat!!! and that if it is the camber its not adjustable anyway!

Is this true? I thought that any cars camber can be corrected even if it ment putting on camber ajustment bolts.

I was also told that my headlights (as mentioned in my last post) are not level ajusting properly because of the suspension!

Any feed back would be great!

Camber can be adjusted with bolts but it doens't need to be its fixed as such if cambers wrong something bent on the car.

The rear of the car there a beam which connects to it to know the height of the car as such that can come disconnected.

Thanks for that mate the back is fine its just the near side front thats out so maybe the sensor has been disconnected or somthing for the xenons, think i will take a trip down to k-tec next week as they seem to know the cars inside out and will be able to sort the suspension for me!

Just another quick one, what parts could be bent to cause the camber to be out like that on one wheel, to be honest i was thinking of going to a lower kit anyway so i think the only bit that could be bent after that is the lower arm? is that right or am i being a little optimistic?:S

strut could be bent, strut bolts bent, damaged top mount etc

there's about 0.2deg either way adjustment std, maybe less
