o2 online tariffs

Does anyone have one of their online tariffs?

ive currently got a normal o2 contract, but want to change to one of the online ones. A few questions which dont seem clear on their website:

can you still upgrade your handset after the year (i guess by calling them)?

Does the online billing system work well?

Do you get a paper bill still?

Yes am with them, have been for 3 years and never had a problem. You can still upgrade every year, the billing system is great, but you dont get a paper version.

you can still see an itemised bill which updates every couple of days so you can keep tabs on your useage

I'm with them too - no problems at all so far. I'm only on SIM only though.

ive got 2 contracts, one sim only, one with phone, you still can upgrade, you can view bills and pay online, and still get sent itemised bills

ive got an online tariff (online 500) its an imode handset - samsung 320i (like the d600 but with 3G.

Its a well good tariff - 500 anytime mins and 500 texts for £35 a month

go for the imode tariff - really good deal, tho you are restricted on hansets tho, it only says you can have a 18months contract but u can get 12 mnths too

Online service is great and after a year you can always push for an excellent deal via the retentions department. Last year I was offered a handset of my choice and 750 xnet anytime mins with 400 textx for £25.

I'm due for renewal now but will wait till the Nokia N80 or N91 are available before I phone them.

I've been on one of the online tariffs for a few years now, no problems at all, though everything is online, no paper bills but everything is viewable online plus you get the 500 texts online, upgrade each year with no problem. even the customer services by email have always been very efficient.

Yeah bills can be paid using DD The w810i is a good phone to choose.

z320i is quality.. i love it! just ghey coz not many ppl i know have 3g so i cant call them

yep they are great. ive been with them for 4 years and they are great. upgraded every year no problems.

im on the online 400, its 45 quid a month but i NEVER go over it so it puts a cap on my bill, although they dont do it now but i get 1000 txts think its 500 now.

no , all bills are viewed online and after each month u get a email just giving the total spent

yer its worked well for me , other have had a few problems.

the upgrades at one point u could do online after 12months etc. but this option keeps disapearing , allthough u can fone up and upgrade. But when u do this check the current online price and what there trying to charge u. They once told me it was 250 to upgrade to a fone , but only 200 if i started a new contract on a different fone number. Got it for 200 at end

appart from that ive been with em for 3-4 years so gues im happy with it

when it comes to upgrades all you do is tell them you weant to leave as you can get x number of minutes, x number of texts and whatever phone on another network and they will make you a better offer to stay

just tried to look at my current "not online contract" bill, and nothing happened.

i hope this isnt the future of things to come, and it will all work when my online contract is up and running

The online billing system always works well for me. The 1st month is usually a mess but that's the same with most online bills i've had from any company. Sorts itself out after the 1st month.

just a quick note to the peeps on sim only, you can get a free handset after 12months if you wish, i upgraded my girlfriends in the summer, she's on sim only, she upgraded, still pays the same, and got a free samsung e700

I have one of those, I'm due for an upgrade next month aswell. Called them today and asked to cancel my contract cause I was getting a better deal with T-Mobile. They matched the deal and halfed the price which is a bonus! Plus they are giving me a choice of any handset, so think I might just wait for one of the new nokia's coming out so I can put navigation software on the phone.

Id stay with the normal O2 if i were u dude. u can get exactely the same deal as you can online if u ask, and u still get the customer service. my missus is online and has been trying to set up her pic messaging for 3 months with no luck as u cant speak to anyone.

Not sure what tariff mate but they are giving me 500 free texts and 500 free minutes for £20 a month. I told them that T-Mobile were offering the same for £35 a month first of all and they said that they could beat it, that's what them come up with. So I'd try that first of all mate
