So I played about at home a bit today.

shame about the orange cast on the lens . did you use a CP to counter affect the lens coating colours

Orange casts? I think thats what makes it. CPL will not make a difference since each layer or glass will have different coatings.

Only thing I would do differently next time is make and use a softbox.

Did you cut the lens out with photshop or did you get that crisp white with the camera?

That was all done via the cam. I extended the whites all around since I just placed my lens on a white box as a pedestal.

Any tips on how to get such a good white?
