Online Backup

Anyone use Online Backup for business backup's?

Any Recommendations?

I pursume you do an initial full backup then differential? I've got a few customers asking about this - but most usually have a lot of data to back up daily. Seems crazy over a DSL line.

We do, I do it as a safety net for exchange and some important documents.

We just have our tapes collected once a week. Much easier.

Quite a lot of money though.

You have the costs of the tapes and collection.

ours go to an off site storage area we have but we are implementing basically a stretched san to another group company to do a zero downtime setup then backup tapoes are pretty much redundant as it will be doing snapshots all teh time

We currently use tapes, backup approximately 2TB. Currently we're looking at a few cloud backup solutions, but that's only because we're sat on 10/100 MPLS infrastructure - I wouldn't even consider it on a DSL line, unless it were leased.

Few to look at are:

Symantec/Messagelabs
