open office calc help please...

doing a spreadsheet to show level of pension conributions, have two column's one which shows monthly amount say £300 and second column shows annual amount so x 12 the monthly.

I need to do two sums firstly monthly in a1 x 12 to get annual in b1, done the first cell but need to repeat formula for 25 rows. second sum i need to do is say to take amount in a1 and multiply it by say 2.5 to get sum for b2 and repeat this again for 25 rows...

sorry for bizarre question for this early

For the first one: click in B1 you see the little blob that appears in the right hand corner of the box? Grab that and drag it down the 25 rows then let go.

For the second one, create the formula in C1 i.e. =A1*2.5 and again click the cell, grab the blob and drag it down the rest of the rows.

Think that's what you're asking anyway?
