Hey guys,
My mate is considering getting rid of his fiesta (trying to get his to get a RS) but it has a few cosmetic problems. I said i would ask on here for some help.
One of the rear quater panels, which was accident damaged a couple of years ago and replaced professionally, seems to have all the problems. The sill (jacking point area) under it, has rusted and there are some random rust patches (very small) on the panel.
The rust doesn't seem to have effected the car structurally.
Same panel seems to have faded and appears to be covered in loads of bubbles or dimples, but is smooth to the touch.
Could someone point out what is the best to treat these problems to get it ready for sale.
Its all on a pretty tight budget as the car aint worth loads but he wants to try and get it lookin presentable for sale. We aint trying to cover anyhting up that is dangerous for the next owner, but he wants to make as much as possible from it.
Cheers guys
