paint prices?

  a low one
Hi guys, just wondering if anyone had a very rough idea of how much it would cost to get the door strips and front and rear bumper mouldings on a ph1 colour coded professionally?

I was quoted 130 euros (85 quid) but with door handles done aswell. I assume it was cheap because i wanted roof and bonnet done at same time.

hopefully, depends who though really
there is usually at least a 50 pound difference in shops round here

also, it may be worth getting the whole of your bumpers done, as the old paint may be slightly discoloured/ faded?
just a thought...

well went round some spray shops today and they ranged from 120- 260 quid! quite frankly i cant justify that for some paint atm so the colour coding plans are being postponed for a while ! :(

What about doing it yourself ? Not that hard im doing mine atm and its looking good, just make sure you sand texture off plastic so it smooth, theres a few helpful guides on here.

I paid £140 for my side, front & rear strips to be colour coded. They're on a MK3 and there is much less surface area. Expect to pay upto £200.

the cost of materials wouldnt be far off getting it done professionally tbh, ive done my spoiler myself and it turned out well considering it was a first time rattle can job, so ill see!
