Normally means it's the same car, just sourced from a different location.

Renault uk get cars direct from renault plant, importers get same cars from a third party in between.

Parallel imports are imported from EU countries like when people say they have a 172 import , usually sourced from countries such as France , Holland , Germany etc ....

Grey imports are from non EU countries , such as Japan where the majority of imports come from .

Parallel imports are usually the same spec as UK cars , whereas grey imports don't usually have underseal , sometimes no rear fog lights ( check out the rear of a Euno roadster , they will have a small aftermarket foglight screwed under the bumper )
