Paypal help needed!

I'm trying to setup a PayPal account. All I want is an account which I can use to pay people for my purchases and to receive money for when people wish to pay me. I would also like to link it to a card so I can withdraw the money if ever I need to.

So! Which type of account do I need and can somebody talk me through it?

Just go to paypal, click new account, and set up a personal account not a business one.

Then, register your card to it and you will need to confirm it's your card (they will add a £1 to your account with a code linked to it, you will need to tell them this code to activate the account)

Ok thanks C.J. Think I must have set up a Premium account because it started asking about bank details? Is there any way of changing the account type or would it be quicker starting again?
