paypal problems please help?!

i wanna scream im so mad at paypal, i now have two accounts, years ago at my old job i opened a paypal account using my old works email addy, then when i left the company i obviously didnt have access to the email anymore, so i put went online, changed the email addy to a hotmail one and they then send a confirmation email to my old works email to confirm its ok to change it over?! i obviously now i have no access to that email so i couldnt confirm it, i got in touch with paypal a while back and they said there is nothing they can do? i was fuming but i really dont know a way around this, ive forgot the password and email address for that old account and it still has all my bank details on and credit cards i use to this day, i just want to close the account and transfer them bank details onto my current account, how do i do it?!

also problem number 2- i ended up getting a second bank account (not cos of this) and put that on the second paypal account, everything was going fine, i had a credit card on this new account i didnt want to use, i tried to put on a new credit card, accidentally put the wrong number in the card number and it wouldn work, THEN when i went to put back on the previously taken off card it wouldnt let me! saying something like i couldnt do that, i phoned them (costing about a £1 a min) and they said they would get back to me in 2 days, that was over 3 months ago!!!, just went to pay for something today and its came up saying i need to add a credit card, i try to add that cc i put on earlier and it wont let me still! the most annoying this is i dont own a different credit card just to add to get onto my account and i was going to be paying for my ebay item out of a my bank account!

ive emailed them and they said i have to provide the last 2 digits of the credit card i am unable to add again?!

im sooooo angry!
now ive had to email all the people i am buying stuff off and telling them im having a carry on with paypal and im not trying to get out of not paying for it!

any advice would be great!

Thats sick mate,

Try and add a new email address to your account,

Then make it the primary one..

That is if you can sign in?

Also im not sure if you need to confirm it. think it emails the new email?

I think you can register a switch card with them, if you have problems then send cash, or postal order for the item..

If you do have a switch card registered, just order a new card, the switch number changes and all links to account are broken and you need to register the new card.

Best bet would be to forget the old account, new email address, new paypal account and this time dont close this one down. Prob best to register it with your ISP email account, link this into Outlook Express and there you go.. All emails picked up in outlook. If you did close your ISP, your emails would still be present with Outlook Express.
