do any of you take the glass completely off on nice days?

i do it quite a bit just on small journeys, love having a big hole in the roof for some nice fresh air!

(i mean the non electric sunroofs by the way)

At the front there are two caps which cover torx screws. Slide the caps backwards and undo the torx.

Not sure about how to get the handle off though.

Normally on a hot day I just stick the climate on "min" and be done with it ;)

The sunroof just unclips when you press the red button in the handle mechanism and you can lift it up and out of the runners on the front.

Does no one read the f**king manual.

if you lift the sunroof to the first, lower setting, you can see a red catch that holds in a bar on the handle to the roof.

if you push this handle and just mess about with the handle a bit the bar will come out and the handle will come free, then just get out the car and lift the glass all the way up, and slide the 2 bits of metal at the front out of the roof bit!

sorry some of those words arent very technical but havent got a clue how to explain it, i found it one day just messing about with stuff in the car!

yeah put them in for the sake of looks, they remained disconnected for months until i thought about selling it. had them wired up for 35 quid, and the bulb for the warning light to show they are on has never been put in (have to check everytime i turn lights on). NEVER used them except for photoshoots, even in fog since im so used to not having them.

ah right, so where did you wire them to? did you buy a stalk from a dynamique with fog option? I thought they would have to wired up to the ecu for it then use the stalk to use them but is the ecu flashed differently, i dont know. And one more question, you know behind the front left fog cap, there is a wire with a connector on it but it doesnt fit into a fog light :S god knows what its for
