ph2 1.2 lowering



  Renault clio 1.2 mk2
hey i was wondering if anybody can suggest what shocks i should buy, ive just got a set of -60mm lowering springs for my 1.2 ph2 clio and have no idea what shocks are best?

You will get what you pay for. Koni and bilstein spring to mind. Depends what you want-street car or a track day machine. I once bought a cheap set for my mk3 escort xr3i and tbh they where not much better than std. A friend of mine had a koni set up on his escort and it was like a go kart ! Hope this helps you out

the springs i already have are -60 mm pi springs if this helps?

well if you can afford it go for the apex kit, very good kit for the price imo. I've got it and really enjoy the ride now its settled :D

Yeah the apex kit is the way to go. I ordered mine for about £260 off venom motorsport's website. If you check out their website ignore the part where it says not suitable for a 1.2 models as I phoned them and they said because the engine is lighter you won't get a spot on 60mm, probably a 50mm or 55mm drop. Although it's been two weeks and I am still waiting for mine, but it'll be worth it. You should get a decent price for the pi springs you've got. You could put them on ebay or even post them on "Cars parts for sale" section in the forum.
