PHace-Lift

Finally got my hands on a PH3 front bumper!
It's a little scruffy, but i plan on chopping it up & welding some bits of a sport bumper on which i got from mocod who was kind enough to chop up his bumper for me, so it doesn't really matter anyway.
I'll get round to colour coding it in a couple of weeks too.

It does look a different colour, but I think it's my crap photography more that anything!
Also purchased some Parada spec 2's, which are pretty good!

Looks cracking mate, whats your plans with the sport bumper bits?

Prob get the wide track sorted for 200-250 quid dependant on where and how the stuff is. Remember the bolt spacing will be different though so you'll need a set for whatever hubs you get hold of.

Feel kinda shitty that everything I had as ideas in my head have come out on other people's cars, but oh well lol! Will look smart regardless. The car is crying out for some depend wheels though.

Yeah, then i'll need new coilovers too!
And the other thing I'm uncertain on is the ABS... but i'll do some more research closer to when i get it sorted.

I know how you feel! I've been desperately trying to get it done before anyone else get's in there first! lol
Wheels are certainly gash, I've got some SuperTurismo's in my garage that are halfway through a refurb, but I'm not really sure on them.. Need to have a good think on what to go for.

Not a fan of superturismo's, but I don't know what I am a fan of these days.

I'm not either really.. Probably get them sold as soon as I've finishbed the refurb tbh.
I was thinking Speedline 2110's, or maybe even Rota Circuit 8's... But I'll probably get told off by Malice for trying to JDM a clio! lol

sexy.... very nice idea there... i was considering getting one just for changes sake... i get bored quickly so i can switch every now and then ha

Haha, cheers!
I also get bored easily. Proper supprised I've managed to keep the same car for 2 whole years tbh!

Certainly will be doing!
Aiming to get the front completed within a month, then i'm saving for wide-track which will probably happen early next year.

wide track and 2.0 brakes nearly the best thing i did to my lil car, and best bit is you dont have to do anything with steering rack :D

It would be pointless yeah, but it doesn't look like I'll be getting a sport anytime soon. Simply can't afford to own one yet.

It probably still is pointless anyway actually, but I just can't leave it alone!

I know the feeling but what you have planned for it just seems a little extreme imo, with regards to the wider track from a sport.

Brilliant! I did wonder about the steering.. What do you do about the abs? just ditch it? lol

take abs rings off 1.2 shafts and put them on 2.0 shafts. and it works mint :D

and i have 25mm spacers ontop of wide track, with cup turini's and wheels still inside of arches, just.

Re: PHace-Lift (clean update)

Right, took some better(ish) pictures. Cba with starting a new thread when i've done pretty much nothing...

The current ride height. Could possibly do to go slightly lower at the back really. Custom springs would be needed though. Not sure they'd be worth it for 10 or so mm lower

Also got some pictures of my Cup Spoiler since I never really took any when I got it. Quite please with the rattle can finish tbh!

Hopefully get the front bumper fitment sorted in the next week or two... Fingers crossed!

Get some wheels with lower offset instead of widetrack?

Looks good though, gimme yo bumpa.

I'm going widetrack for the brakes & sport hubs/coilovers for when/if I do any sort of engine swap.
I agree, wheels would be an easier option, but I'll get through bearings rather quickly!

Bumper is in pants condition tbh :(
You wouldn't like it!

looking good :)

the prada's are ace in the dry but careful in the wet!!

Ahah, I'm already terrified of them when It's cold/wet! A lot of people seem to have a similar opinion of them.
But there's no way in hell I'm binning it in the wet!
