Photoshop experts - removing cages?!



Took a photo of an owl whilst on holiday at the own centre - probably not easy, but any way of removing cage lines?!

The picture is:

nice picture mate but the cage quite rightly spoilt it.. will look good after a chop!
 
Yeh, there's tons of tools that you would need to use, but the clone will be the most effective and quickest to start off with, then you can tidy up with other tools, and the way you have mentioned :)

here you go mate, it was basically a case of clone other parts of the background / feathers over the cage

Was in Aperture mode - f5.6 1/100 iso 800 and in vivid - i need to get my PS skills up to that level!!
