Photoshop Mac question

I use a PC at work and Mac at night.

Something that reaaally winds me up about using photoshop on my mac is when you have a file open, and you zoom out, it reduces the whole canvas window, whereas when your on a pc and zoom out, it zooms out on the artboard and leaves the window the same size if you get me?

Any way of doing this on a mac too?

You need to be on one of the other screen modes other than standard. Press the F key or toggle through the view modes in the tools palette (bottom button)
