Platunum Black?

I've got a mk3 and i know it's black but on my documents from Renault under colour is says Platunum. couldn't see that in the renault catalogue. Anyone know what this means? i'm getting a few bits painted so wanted to know the correct colour if anyone knows? Cheers!

Try having a look on renault website, think there is a section on there with all the different specs of the cars? Could be wrong tho :S

Or give Renault a ring!

For painting you're best going the colour code thats on the car, usually on the drivers side door shut..

Yeah i thought it was pearl black aswell but on the renault website there is no Platinum which is what mine apparently is. i'm ordering a front skirt for the SX kit for my mk3 due to damage on mine, am i right in thinking the part will come ready to paint but be black already? just wondering if it will notice that much if i just bolt it on without painting it.

I would have thought it would come unpainted. Best to use the paint code on the door shut as Alan suggested.

I thought most parts came in Primer but that was it.

Look on your door shut. It'll have various info about the car.

You're looking for 676 as the colour code. If it is 676, it's Pearl Black.

some parts do come base coated - my bonnet did from reno but wing only came primered
