the other day i posted a plee for anyones ideas for a new body kit for the mk1 clio. i am studying at uni and require some ideas from potential customers for market research reasons. for my course i am going to design a kit for this car. please please can someone give some ideas so i can get my tutor off my back. i am not trying to copy peoples cars and i have already looked at exsisting kits i just needsome ideas.

I reckon make it smooth, euro-style, as it looks too fussy otherwise.

I dont envy you - must be tricky being inventive and good at the same time!!

Most of the ones that have been done have been a bumpers and skirts job, with some being wide-arched too. This does suit it, though getting something original will be tricky! The clio is quite a square shape, but with rounded edges, so doing a kit that is quite chunky/blocky but with softened edges may look best.

Oh god, I dont know...

Think its too much of a wide-ranging request! How about drawing up a list of what people might like and then asking them to respond with yes or no?

i.e. 1. Big-mouth front bumper

2. Smoothed and de-cluttered normal-type bumper

3. Fat side skirts

4. subtle side skirts

5. Deep rear bumper

6. More normal size rear bumper

7. Wide arches

8. REALLY wide arches

etc etc etc
