Polishing cloths

  F56 MINI Cooper S
Do polishing cloths need washing after using them, or do i just keep using them until they have had it. BTW, these are the cloths that came in an autoglym pack (the one in the red bag)

i wash after use as you can contaminate clothes ie; use some thing abrasive such as a cutting polish with a cloth then use it with your final polish and its going to leave a mark.

Just a quick un, if you put microfibre cloths in the washing machine and the dryer they will "de-charge" themselves, meaning they will never be as good.

Leave them to soak (I do this with all my kit, not just MF towels), hand wash them, leave them to dry in an aired space (airing cupboard, outside on a washing line, etc etc)

I don't put any detergent in with mine, just washing machine and water.

Still work good! :D

oh sweet nice one! Do this in the future then. Used to do this with dusters, put them in sink with washing liquid then comfort on them, then finally hang them on the line :)

Oh I don't dry them in the machine, I tried that once before and my clothes had a yellow dust on them for the next 2 washes!

I do what you do and just air them out in the conservatory.

Do they actually come out clean without a washing liquid? Only washed mine once so far anyway, getting good use out of them.:D

I've washed mine f**king loads. Go in by themselves with some washing powder at 40. Then leave them to drip dry. Still going strong.
