POWER PEAK

i kno i only have a 1.2 and gettin ne power out of it is near impossible...

but my zorst is loudest at bout 4000-4300rpm, does this mean this is peak for that gear?

I have the same engine..

Peak Power is between 3.5k -> just below 5k I would say.. then it starts whining more than anything.

yeah. mine was whistling the other day! id say just below 5K revs too. if you want to be economic then change aroung 3K

Nope, I aint fed up..

Sure, it might get changed.. but I aint fed up with it - I reckon my car makes up for the massive 60hp in other areas.. heh.

I have the 1.2 8v.. DIET Engine..

I wont go into what it can keep up with etc.. cus people will just argue and thats not what the threads about.

my car too is good on fuel etc-can get bout 46-48mph and i normally change at 2000rpm for economy

I change about 3.5.. but I usually go into 4 - 5krpm lots and lots..

I get about 36mpg average.. heh.

duno wot mine is really-for fun i change at 5k, normally bout 2k and i get bout 280miles on a tank round town, 340 on motorway, cant complain
