power steering

I have a problem with my power steering.it squeaks on full lock and i notice the top pulley sticks on full lock.so it looks like i might need a new power steering pump.are they hard to fit and how much would one set me back?

How old is your aux belt?

When on full lock the system pressure is at its highest and puts most load onto the pulley/belt, so it can slip if tension isnt high enough or the belt is worn and slick.
