preparing my car for track

in reality nothing is needed....what you can do is down to your wallet size though

insurance you can get day insurance, lots of variety on that

check renaultsport forum for track day prices as i hear they are very good

im going to get some track day wheels i think mayb sum speedlines, so i can have to seperate sets of tyres to burn! maybe some struts and poly mounts grooved discs and a induction set up.

for example - grooved discs, as you mention, are pointless


i cannot emphasise this point enough, instruction instruction instruction before spending a single penny on your car (well apart from the brakes maybe)

Good brake combo & cooling, Like Fred says, Get a morning with an instructor, Tom ( tompoms ) has shown me the light for how effective a lesson with some one who knows the track like the back of there hand is

Get some brembo Hc's and DS2500's on the front can;t recommend them enough tbh!

Abused them since fitting them and not seen any fade yet :cool:

I remember a call about 2 yrs ago saved me a s**t load of cash & i learnt a lot more about my motor.

Standard is good place to start;)
