the bluefin is refered to as an off the shelf map, a generic one.

i want a remap done to my cars charecteristics and any mods done so that i can get the maximum power throughout the range and get the power as smooth as possible.

Need to check but i dont think your car can be live mapped, however you could have a custom map on a dyno.

I can offer this. PM me if interested

Nooooooo, u cant live map like that. The comms is far too slow. You have to take apart the ecu, take the chip off and connect the emulator. Basically you then have a pc as the "chip" but changes can be made in realtime :)

Ideal, Im not familiar when it comes to mapping lol, i know about standalone!

I may try and run itb's on the stock ecu as discussed in another thread and get you to map it...

I'd be interested to see how well this works if you go for it :) It would make ITB conversions a lot cheaper not having to have something like OMEX installed.

I think that the idle would be crap due to the map sensor readings been all over BUT i have never tried it and there may be ways round this. It certainly would be good and yes it would make the ITB conversions loads cheaper :)

Russ, just going to read the pm now. Will get back to you shortly

^^ i'd agree with that. since the compression was raised on mine it idles like a bag of spanners, if i have to use 95 it sounds like it is almost stalling!

I'll say no on that one, of course it will be possible but never looked into it. If i find anything i'll let you know :)

Idle on mine can be a bit dodgy at times too with the cams. Most times fine sometimes truely horrid till warmed up.

Is the MAP sensor on a Clio a poor one as in it has a low range of tolerance ??
