Printer problem?

Hi,
printer decided to play up last week - wasnt communicating with printer when i tried printing any documents. Decided to reinstall it but still no luck. Just tried the printer troubleshooting but after deleting the printer again and then letting my computer automatically detect and install the printer i still get a message saying there is a problem installing the printer. Anyone have any advice?

Changed anything at all since it worked last?

USB, Lexmark 5200 series using Windows XP with SP2 added.

Whole system crashed not too long ago so had to reinstall everything.

Do you have a CD for the motherboard with USB drivers on? and if so, have you installed them?

Also, try a different USB port in case the one you are using is having problems.
