So i've had this intermittant problem with my 2001 clio, (1.2 16v engine).
The problem is, is that every now and then, when you go to start the car up, you turn the key, and it only turns over, not sparking into life.
It does this for about 10 goes, then starts. It only also happens from cold.
Also, when it's not starting, the engine timing light switches on, and turns off again when the engine jumps into life.
Basically, does anyone know what the problem is?
I know it can't be to do with the battery in the key, not disabling the immobilisor, as the batterys got changed when this started. I originally thought that this may have been the problem.
