I am new to this forum and this is my first post. I really need help with my Clio expression 16v 1149cc petrol 2002. The car just doesnt start, it takes so long and after many attempts of constantly turning the key it finally starts. At first it would take a couple attempts but now its got worse I could be there trying for 20 times turning the key.
At first i thought it was the key so i got a new key and coded etc, still no luck. The mechanic on the phone said it could be the immobiliser so I checked to see the red light turns off and it does so its not that.
Can anyone help me with :
1) this starter issue what could be the possible problems for me to tell my mechanic because he is clueless
2) if there is a clio specialist anywhere near London. so east london or central london would be great
3) when should i change my cambelt at what mileage
your help is much appreciated would love it if anyone can recommend someone to look at it
