Problems with 17s

Ive just brought some 17s for my clio Mk1 its lowered 40mm but im having problems with the rear wheels.

They seem to be rubbing on the outer part of the tyre but i cant see whats causing it. Is my car to low or do the arches need modifing.

you will most probably have to cut the arches down on the inner lip or maybe take the splash gaurd out, 17s on a non valver is pritty hard work i think

You have a Mk2 though.

the rear bumper bracket needed to be grinded down and all the arch lips too.

16v wings on the front.

Get some 15s or 16s imo
