year 2000 winning car, Prodrive built. £330k build cost. 330bhp Prodrive V6. Most expensive super tourer ever built. The new company i work for are running this in LMA eurosaloons this year.

Dax Rush S2000

Getting there. Engine is all ready to go now, just finishing some parts of the wiring before the stack goes in. Off to Simpson Race Exhausts next week then it will get sprayed and the final assembly will begin. We machined a alloy casing for the ecu which looks the tits i must add.
getting there slowly anyway ha ha!

There used to be a mondeo round here just like that with some 50 yr old chavy looking bloke driving it.So yeh to me it looks cack.I cant get the image of the old duffer driving round in a 1.8 mondeo in those colours,sorry

its a mental car, prodrive shut down the ford plant in Genk over a weekend to produce 10 chassis.

The engine build time is 250 hours and costs £95k per engine

Prodrive cut the block and moved the bottom bank of cylinders down 14 degrees further so they could run the driveshafts through the middle of the V's

it takes 45 mins to start the mondeo, heat the water, charge the cams with oil, get the oil to temperature, START, warm the gearbox up, and then you can drive! Ha Ha

Theres Reids Mondeo from 2000, Matt Neals Primera, Leslies Primera, 2 x Cavaliers, 1 Vectra, 2 Accords - theres a fairly large super tourer group. Most havent yet registered for the championship but im advised there will be 6-10 super tourers
