Progress of my RSI

  Clio 1.6 16v RSI
Hi all

I thought i would start a thread on the progress I have made to date on my 2000 RSI clio.

Well not much to start with, just tidying it up first.

As you can see, nothing out of the ordinary, there was a few scratches on the rear panel you see there, but Feirny sorted me out with the right colour to touch up. The wheels are awful, unfortunately the car came with the hubs missing, but from the pictures i have seen of them, I'm not even going to bother replacing them, I have seen the OZ F1 alloys that i have sourced so they will be next.

I have already added some tasteful black viper stripes to the car, they run across the bonnet and over the roof.

I have seen some great badges for it too, painted black and they have green flake on them, i will post these when i get them.

Other things that will be done are as follows

Paint the calipers and drums (possibly green to match the car)
black out rear windows
decent head unit with DVD and GPS
Tune up and possible remap
bigger battery
Amp and sub

Nothing too OTT, as this will kill the whole look of the car. i did want to colour code the black sections, but after the messing around with the paint last time it seems to me that maybe just leaving it might be OK, unless you can suggest any other method of covering it up, as the paint is a rare colour and cost a fortune from Renault.

Any other suggestions would be good, i will put some more images on soon, when it has stopped raining.

advice mate... nice wheels and a subtle drop. then sort your music inside.

dont bother with tatt, no need for tints it'll look like a van and silly stripes. just keep it clean and if you paint the drums, do them black, its nothing to shout about rocking drums lol so they must be clean and not seen ;)

colours fab though, if you colour code the sides go and get a sport bumper sprayed too!
