progressive control - nos

Does anyone got a progressive nos control thats based on RPM?? (insted of time)

For those that have a time based progressive control.. Does there exist any device that can make you nos only start flowin form "for example" 4800rpm??

Thanks..

You can get rpm switches that stop the NOS activating below a set RPM, but RPM linked progressive delivery is not a good idea due to it agrivating wheelspin

Well nitrous linked to rpm would be a good idea apart from that one problem, wheelspin. A better bet would be to get an rpm switch that will cut the circuit until say 4000 rpm. In fact you could even make a window circuit to only allow nitrous use between say 4000 and 7000 so youve got no chance of getting over enthusiastic and hitting the limiter with the gas on (which isnt the best idea in the world!)

There is a unit made by Jacobs Electronics which is very highly regarded in America. The unit activates N2O at a predefined RPM level, protects against weak fuel mixtures by shutting of N2O if the fuel pressure drops too low, and also allows you to map your own timing curve!

I have never heard of an application that works in proportion to RPM. The nearest thing I know of is a 2 or 3 stage nitrous kit. Additional stages (i.e. 2 or 3) are usually triggered by the user by a button on the steering wheel etc.

Hope this helps

Laurence.
